Sue Taylor is a mature and experienced actress, artist and writer with a specialist interest in Shakespeare and theatre. She is a history graduate and is based in London.
Main interests
Sue's interests include Medieval history, classical music, art, theatre, including opera and ballet, and cats. Sue has a particular interest in Shakespeare and classical theatre and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Shakespeare Studies from the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford. As part of this interest, Sue is Hon. Secretary of the Sunday Shakespeare Society, which meets once a month in London to read a Shakespeare play. As the Society does not have many men in its ranks, she has had the chance to gain wide experience playing many of the great male roles, including Richard III, Hotspur & Prince Hal (Henry IV, Pt. 1), Orsino (Twelfth Night), Leontes (Winter’s Tale) and Macbeth. She publishes a newsletter every month with relevant articles, reviews etc. Sue is also a volunteer steward at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Sue is a qualified proofreader and editor.
